Making Every Dollar Count

Too often, county dollars have gone to projects and studies that don’t directly help residents. One example: the courthouse construction study cost $475,000 in one year just to estimate a 3,000-square-foot building — only to find the county couldn’t afford it. A new courtroom is needed, but this shows why planning, priorities, and oversight matter.

I’m committed to responsible spending, transparency, and focusing funds on what matters most — roads, public safety, essential services, and projects our community truly needs.

Key Priorities

  • Stop Wasteful Spending: No more expensive studies with little to show for it.
  • Infrastructure & Safety: Roads, public safety, and essential projects like a new courtroom come first.
  • Transparency: You’ll know exactly how every tax dollar is spent.

Fair Rules: County regulations will protect taxpayers and ensure accountability

Protecting Our Natural Beauty

I moved to Eureka Springs to enjoy the natural beauty that makes the Ozarks special. That’s why it was heartbreaking to drive along Highways 905 and 103 and see once-lush ridgelines stripped bare for wind turbine construction. Erosion, landscape damage, and loss of scenic character are real and ongoing.

Act 945 was created to address this, and I fully support it. It protects our mountains, tourism, and the property rights of families who have lived here for generations. Residents’ property rights matter just as much as corporate claims — and our community’s heritage should not be sacrificed for short-term profit.

Leadership You Can Trust

With 28 years in county government, I know how the system works — and where it needs to improve. Leadership means:

  • Doing the right thing
  • Delivering results
  • Earning your trust

Decisions won’t be made behind closed doors. Your concerns will be heard, and you’ll have access to project and spending details.

Bottom line: I will stop wasteful spending, protect property rights, and make sure your tax dollars fund the services Carroll County relies on most — including projects we truly need, like a new courtroom.

I’m ready to work. I’m ready to listen. I’m asking for your vote.
