Safe, Reliable Roads: A Priority for Carroll County

Bad Roads

Safe, reliable roads are essential to daily life in Carroll County. They get our kids to school, help farmers and businesses move goods, and allow families and emergency services to travel safely. Too many county roads are worn down, unsafe, or patched instead of properly fixed.

I have a plan to change that.

As County Judge, my focus will be on maintaining roads strategically—not reactively—so taxpayer dollars are used wisely and roads are safer for everyone.

Here’s how my plan works:

  • Start with accountability: Review the budget to identify waste and prioritize road funding.
  • Fix the right roads first: Use clear information and community input to focus on roads that matter most for safety, access, and daily use.
  • Make repairs that last: Plan long-term maintenance instead of short-term patches that cost more over time.
  • Ensure oversight: Strengthen review of contracts and spending so taxpayers know their money is being used responsibly.

Good roads aren’t a luxury—they’re a responsibility. Under my leadership, Carroll County will have safer roads, smarter planning, and accountable use of taxpayer dollars.
