Transparency, Civility & Access

The Status Quo
- Closed-door decisions
- Short-term fixes
- Limited transparency
- Lack of civility and decorum
Example: Important county projects have moved forward despite clear opposition from residents, leaving people feeling ignored and unheard.
A Different Approach
For too long, county government has felt distant and difficult to navigate. Important decisions are often made without clear communication or meaningful public input. I’m running for County Judge to take a different approach:
- Open government: Make meetings and decisions transparent and accessible.
- Responsible spending: Prioritize taxpayer dollars for essential services.
- Long-term planning: Focus on projects that serve the community for years to come.
- Listening to residents: Every concern will be acknowledged and tracked.
Bottom Line: Government works for the people — not behind closed doors.
Experienced, Accountable Leadership
With 28 years in county government, I’ve seen what works — and what doesn’t. I understand how decisions are made, where oversight is needed, and how to ensure county projects serve the people.
Leadership is measured by actions, results, and the confidence of the people we serve — not by saying “everything is fine.”
My experience has helped me develop an approach that includes:
- Implementing transparent processes for contracts and approvals
- Ensuring taxpayer dollars are prioritized for essential services
- Leading projects that balance public input with practical outcomes
Contrast: Unlike the current leadership, some decisions have moved forward without fully reflecting long-term priorities or resident input. My approach is grounded in listening to residents, collaborating with county staff, and focusing on results.
Listening & Responsible Government
Too often, county decisions have been made without fully listening to the people. Despite opposition to certain projects, the incumbent moved forward anyway.
Under my leadership:
- Every concern will be acknowledged and tracked
- Contracts and approvals will follow clear procedures
- Residents will have access to project and spending details
- Essential services—roads, public safety, and infrastructure—will be funded responsibly
- Administrative staff will operate within clearly defined roles and responsibilities to ensure efficiency, accountability, and proper oversight.
Contrast: Some past projects advanced despite opposition or incomplete input from residents. My approach ensures transparency, fairness, and accountability every step of the way.
A Better Choice for Carroll County
This campaign is about service, common sense, and results you can see:
- Safer roads and better public safety
- Responsible use of taxpayer dollars
- Transparent, accessible county government
- Projects the community actually needs — including a new courtroom
Bottom line: I will stop wasteful spending, protect property rights, and make your government work for you — every day.
I’m ready to work. I’m ready to listen. I’m asking for your support, your ideas, and ultimately your vote.
